Yesterday, I had the opportunity to interview Julie Plec about what’s coming up on Vampire Diaries.
Supernatural SDCC bag picture
I originally got a Big Bang Theory bag when I registered at SDCC last year. The next day, I saw some Supernatural ones and asked if I could have one. The guy was super nice and gave me one.
Taking a picture a day is much more difficult than I thought it would be, especially since with the snowy, cold weather I have been staying in except for errands. I’m going to run out of stuff in the house, so I hope the weather gets nicer again.
Lazy sweatpants kinda day!
That sums up my day today. I caught up on some television, watch the football playoff games, did some writing. But, wore sweatpants all day.
It was a refreshing day! Though provided for a boring picture!
Cheetos go retro!
I don’t remember eating Cheetos much growing up. Over the last couple years, they have been one of my go to chips to accompany a sandwich.
I’m a sucker for retro packaging. A sign of a simpler time. (They were on sale, but I had to get the retro bag rather than the current style!)
Do you like retro packaging?
First snow of the season! Yes, I live in Chicagoland and we just now on January 12th got snow of any accumulation.
I think we had light flurries back in November or December one day, but nothing stuck on the ground.
I’ve been loving the mild weather and hope we continue to have a mild winter!
Frozen Fruit Gushers!
I read a Facebook update last week about freezing Fruit Gushers. I’d never heard of it and decided to try it. Delicious!
No, I haven’t turned my heat on yet this year. In fact, I haven’t used my heat in probably 4 or 5 years. Yes, I live outside Chicago and we have brutal winters.
Why haven’t I used my heat? Well, with no heat tonight my condo is almost 74 degrees that’s why. I don’t know what causes my place to stay warm but it does. Of course, when it gets brutally cold out my place does get a bit chilly. In those cases, I’ll use a space heater in whatever room I’m in. But, that only happens a few days a year.
I don’t have central air or a thermostat, so if I turn on my heat it would be 85 degrees in here and that would be miserable.
I think when it does get cold in here this winter, I’m going to try my panel heat again. But, only if it gets down to 60 in here….
Tonight I attended a special screening of the new NBC show, SMASH. I interviewed actor Brian d’Arcy James and Executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
I’d seen the premiere before, but it was amazing on the big screen. Definitely looking forward to the February launch.
After the screening, there was reception. Above is the signature drink a … SMASH-tini! Delicious.
It was after midnight so it counts as today, right? I didn’t do anything exciting today, so my picture of the day is from the Cougar Town screening party last night.
The party went on well after it officially ended. I had the opportunity to interview Busy Philipps about the show and the rogue marketing campaign.
Here is a picture of Cougar Town’s Busy Philipps and writer for the show, Melody Derloshon. (Click to follow them on twitter!)
(The hand on Melody’s face was meant to be a joke, but she didn’t think it translated well. I love the picture!)
And, watch Cougar Town when it returns … eventually!
